We're two guys who live in Tbilisi, Georgia. We met when one of us was driving, and the other ordered the ride. On that first ride we got talking, enjoyed the conversation and soon started working together. Shoferi came out of that first meeting.
We've both been drivers, so we know what it is like. On the ride-sharing platforms it's hard to make ends meet — the platform takes its cut, while fuel, maintenance and the wear and tear on your car come out of the driver's pocket. We believe drivers deserve fair pay, and Shoferi is our way of helping with that.
As riders, we know how hard it can be to find a regular private driver you click with — and how good it is when you do. Someone you're happy to see every day, who becomes more than a driver: a friend, a colleague. We were proof of that before Shoferi existed. Now we want to make it easier for everyone else.
And we believe the small daily choices — the products we buy, the services we use, where our money goes — shape the world we live in. Choosing services that treat people fairly is one of those choices.
